Who
"So, tell me about yourself."
I dread hearing this phrase, whether in casual introductions or job interviews. This is partially because I hate the idea of placing my whole existence into a box and labeling it. If I'm really being honest, though, it's because most days I wouldn't know what the hell to write on the box. Anyone who knows me well (all 7.5 of you out there!) would probably agree that I am complicated. I once described myself as "equal parts thinker and feeler; I'm always thinking about what I'm feeling." This is still the most accurate description.
I'm Erica - a 33-year-old, Black mother of two precious babies. When I'm not being their Mommy, I am being a wife, working as a behavior analyst, being petty with my friends, thinking, or procrastinating.
